I am no longer kept in permanent custody! On weekdays, I have school from 8-10. And in the afternoons, when the sun isn't too bright, I get to go to the playground. Do you have any idea how this has improved my quality of life? I used to leave the house only to go to playdates. I was never outdoors. This is soooo much better!
Here's the playground at the park close to our house. Fancy, huh!? Sure, the parents are still a bit distressed about the fact that I come home all covered in oil and rust. But hey, that's part of living in the capital of pollution. Just something they'll have to learn to live with.

The slides of the playground are long and exciting to go down.

And the pebbles are spectacular! Fun to play with in oh so many ways. You can touch them, throw them, share them with friends, listen to the sound when you hit them against metal... And no, I don't taste them anymore, so no reasons to worry!

I like the swings as well. I can go on my own, if someone helps me up. But sometimes, when I'm a bit tired, I like riding in someone's lap.

And I get to practice staris climbing, without the fear of falling very far. In other words, it's great! I love being 16 months and less fragile! (But of course, I never get to go to the playground without sunscreen, mosquito repellant and hat. That'd just be plain stupid.)

Du er en heldiggis (er det lyckost det heter på svensk?).
Frøya venter på barnehageplass, men ingen ledige plasser i Oslo.
Hilsen frustrert mormor.
